Side by side milking parlour

In a side by side milking parlour the cows are standing  90 degrees towards the milk pit. The milking cluster is connected from behind, between the legs of the cow.

Dutchlac has two basic models  for the side by side milking parlours. The Rotor-exit en the Simplex milking parlour. Below you can find the difference between these 2 basic models.

Rotor-exit side by side. This side by side milking parlour has a large rotating fence (rapid exit) so all cows leave the milking parlour simultaneously.

Simplex side by side. This side by side parlour has a fence which turns upside down against the outside walls of the milking parlour. The cows leave the parlour, two by two, through the sidewalk of the parlour.

  • Fast and easy change of group of cows
  • Less space needed than Rotor exit
  • Stand width is 70 cm
  • Feeding in the parlour is possible
  • Texas entrance fences
